Bright Kids Nursery (BKN) is a chain of nurseries owned, managed and operated by KBBO Education, a subsidiary of KBBO Group, providing quality childcare and premium education for babies, toddlers, and young children, within a safe and secure environment.

balcony8 was awarded the re-brand project for Bright Kids Nursery, which included robust brand strategy, brand re-positioning, brand values, creative logo development, design implementation across stationary, collateral, uniforms and implementation across online and offline channels.

Challenge:

As BKN were already successfully operating within the Abu Dhabi education market for some time, the nurseries, already had positive brand recognition amongst parents.  However, their existing website was outdated and required both a brand facelift but also a more seamless user experience to bring the existing website in line with consumer online expectations of the 21st century, as well as to avoid any brand inconsistency.

Result

Upon completion of the BKN re-brand, balcony8 re-designed and re-developed the website too. Both the website design and architecture were conceptualized keeping in mind the user journey for parents and how they would navigate the website. Our aim was to simplify the user journey and make the content more accessible with an aesthetically pleasing design. Our process began with laying out the information architecture and content hierarchy for the website so that it was more logically laid out without needing to browse back-and-forth to access related information about a specific nursery. The client was delighted with the simplified user journey and the website design. We worked our way through rounds of revisions, with the end result being a well-planned, strong design that the client and BKN parent’s would be proud of. The website offers an industry-leading, powerful and secure content management system, WordPress. This ensures quick and easy updates for the client without requiring any specialized web design knowledge. The lead generation process was made simpler to ensure users can submit their enquiries online via a form linked to different departments at BKN.
