Dubai’s newest Latin F&B concept

EPJ Atelier, working on behalf of JW Marriott Marquis, approached balcony8 to assist them in creating a brand identity for what would be Dubai’s newest Latin F&B concept called Hotel Cartagena.

The scope of work included a robust brand strategy, including brand positioning, promise, essence and core brand values and a brand identity reflective of the brand’s foundation.

Result

Alongside the brands theatrical and bohemian look and feel, we created a dramatic brand character named Mrs Buendia to bring the concept and story of Hotel Cartagena to life. The end result was an eclectic, first of its kind, hedonistic brand identity rolled out uniquely and with meticulous consideration of the brand and its story, across as series of collaterals including; drink cabinet bar tab keychains, a love letter desert menu and an authentic book bill fold. Balcony8 also sourced and managed the production of all items for operation.
